Family sessions are at an all-inclusive price of $300
My family sessions are all about capturing the dynamic within your family unit. It's about your children's personalities, interaction, expressions and play. While I will often direct some posing, most of the session revolves around enjoying the time together. You can expect the session to be centered around simply being with your children; hugging them, tickling them, making them feel at ease. It's through doing this that genuine memories and the love is captured.
A 50% retainer is due at the time of booking in order to reserve your session date. One week after your session you will be sent an online gallery where you can simply star your chosen images and I will apply my final hand edits to those. From there you can print them as you wish. You also have the option to purchase beautiful print products in addition.
All my family sessions are held outdoors within the last hour of sunset(golden hour) to get that soft golden light. I absolutely love the greenery and nature that changes with the seasons. The majority of the time I shoot on our property, and I also have a few loved locations I use. I’m more than happy to check out new locations if you have one in mind.
This price includes up to 2 hours of photography as well as 25 high-resolution edited digital images via direct download, with the option to purchase more images from your gallery.
When it comes to getting the most out of your photos, styling plays a big part. What you wear to your session can be the difference between a good shoot and a great one. "What do we wear!" is probably my most asked question prior to booking a family session for my clients. I recommend to dress your family members in neutral tones if possible, avoiding neon colors, logos, pictures or words on clothing. There is no need to be in formal wear or have family in matching colors, just tones and styles that compliment each other and take the season of the year into account. Darker or earthy hues such as olive, tan, rust, and mustard suit autumn and winter. Chunky knitted sweaters, jumpers, cardigans, hats, beanies, booties, vests and knitted tights and stockings look lovely for fall the season. Lighter fresh colors such as creams, blush, tan, beige, and pastels for spring and bright vibrant colors like blue, red, orange to contrast green grasses in summer. Layered clothing or adding movement with a cardigan or dress goes a long way. Please wear comfy but tasteful shoes and avoid high heels as we will be walking in grass or in the sand, sometimes we are all barefoot!
